Great Heck Church is a Chapel of Ease of the historic Parish of Hensall. It was built in the late 19th Century when the then Vicar of Hensall fell out with the Church in Hensall over his 'High Church' theology. He arranged for Great Heck to be build in the style of an 'Oxford Movement Church'

Today, Great Heck is used once a month for a service, but has also recently been reordered. It is an ideal venue for a day retreat, quiet day or meeting. It is fully accessable amd has both toilet and small kitchen.
